Each JILLY New York item is handmade using genuine exotic skins from Columbia, South Africa and Malaysia. Variations in the texture of these exotic skins are inherent characteristics and add a natural beauty and unique quality to all of our items. Slight variation in the skin colors are due to different dye lots used during the tanning process. The luster of the skins will change with daily wear. The skins will become more soft and supple over time. All JILLY New York skins are farm raised and comply with CITES, Convention of International Treaties for Endangered Species, as well as the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Conservation and Management Authority.

Skin and Handbag Care

• Avoid moisture and excessive heat. Avoid direct sunlight, which can fade or discolor the skins.
• Exotic skins are not waterproof. Should the bag become wet, pat the bag dry with soft cloth, then allow to air dry at room temperature. Do not apply any type of heat.
• Chemicals and oil, like those found in cosmetic and cleaning products can stain the skins and dull the finish of the bag.
• Remove surface oils and fingerprints with a soft dry cloth. Do not clean skins with abrasive fabrics or paper towels.
• Always store your JILLY handbag in the dust bag provided.
